Being not Doing

Our modern day life all too often celebrates “doing” and “achieving” that we don’t experience the joy and fulfilment of life in every day activities. Sometimes we find ourselves lost in what we are doing that we feel content, poised, balanced and relaxed. We vow to make more time to do it more often and then the commuting, working, daily life activities take us away from this connected place and we wonder “how did this happen?”.  Over the course of the next few weeks we will be continuing our exploration of being present by considering “Being not Doing” what it means, why we keep “forgetting” how to stay present and what the most influential factors are in why we forget amidst the best intentions.
